Making Progress to Repair the Abbey Roof

The contract for phase one of the roof repair will be signed once it is approved by the Monastic Community. The work will cover the roof over the Monk's living quarters, which is the worst area of the present roof.  The roofer, J. King DeShazo III, Inc., has already done some temporary repairs to get us through until the final repair begins. There is a fund raiser for the roof repairs being held on Sunday, September 28th.  The 2008 Richmond Beach Music Festival will be staged on the field behind the Abbey.  The entertainment includes:  The Mighty Tams,  The Chairmen of the Board, the Band of Oz, and Richmond's own Ron Moody and the Centaurs.  Come join us for an afternoon of good music for the whole family.  To learn more or to contribute to this vital repair and phases two and three contact: Abbot
