The Abbey Gift Shop is Celebrating it’s first year with a Special Day
One year ago Bro. Jeffery Williams, O.S.B. was given the task of organizing, supplying, and opening The Abbey Gift Shop. The intention was to stock a wide variety of educational and religious materials and act as a resource for people looking to increase their knowledge of Christ that their love of Christ might grow and prosper and express itself in their lives.
Brother made a decision to rely heavily on the many monastic communities that produce everything from books to fruit cake. Much of the reading, resource, and research material stocked now in the Gift Shop comes from Benedictine Abbeys in this country and abroad.
If you are attending a retreat at the Abbey you will find inspirational items as well as Benedictine and other crucifixes, icons, and personal religious items.
In addition, The Gift Shop stocks a wide variety of items produced by monastic communities. Among the favorites are jams, jellies, honey, and chocolates.
